WebLink is an advanced in-vehicle infotainment application delivery platform.It utilizes the phone as a medium to deliver applications that are relevant to the driver into the in-vehicle displays (car radios) in a safe manner. The applications that are driven by WebLink are made to run on the mobile device and then projected to the in-vehicle systems. WebLink application is readily available in app stores(Apple App Store or Google Play Store). You can download it to your smartphone and then connect your phone to a WebLink compatible car radio.
Once we are able to establish a connection between the phone and car radio, the car radio will share its identity to the WebLink and then the corresponding applications will be shown under the "Apps: tab of the WebLink host application which is available while the phone is not connected with the car radio. Once you launch the WebLink app and connect it to the car radio, the home screen of WebLink on the car radio will show the compatible app icons.

The easiest way is to look for a WebLink certified logo on your product's packaging or in the owner's manual for the vehicle in case the audio system is factory setup system itself. If you are sure that your audio system is WebLink compatible, use the USB option to connect your phone to car audio and then launch the WebLink application on your phone. If the car audio is WebLink compatible, the connection will be established and both the car screen as well as the phone screen would notify that the WebLink application has started. The phones that support WebLink include iPhones with iOS version 13.0 and above. For Android, the phones with OS versions 7.0 and above are supported.
